Let's start by pinpointing the source of the leak.
*If you are experiencing a leak, power down your unit, and close all of your shutoff points so you can further assess the situation.*
*Before anything else, it's essential to rule out condensation as a potential cause. Condensation often occurs when moisture from humid air gathers on cooler surfaces such as hoses, connections, or filters. This moisture is typically from external air and isn't a system leak.*
Here are the areas where leaks might occur:
1. Drain Plug:
If you're drain plug is leaking, click here for possible resolutions.
2. Chiller Fittings
If there is a leak at the chiller fittings, click here for possible resolutions.
3. Under the chiller
If you notice water coming from under the chiller, like the photo above, don't panic! It is most likely NOT an internal chiller leak! Click here for a possible solution. (and explanation)
