Understanding Condensation on Your Cold Plunge System

Condensation is a natural byproduct of using a cold plunge system, especially in warmer or more humid environments. When cold water flows through the hoses, the temperature difference between the water and the surrounding air causes moisture to condense on the outside of the hoses and components.

Why Does Condensation Occur?

When cold water circulates through your system in a hot or humid area, the moisture in the air comes into contact with the cooler surfaces, such as the hoses and filter housing. This results in condensation forming on those surfaces, similar to how a cold drink will "sweat" on a warm day. This is a natural process and not a sign of a malfunction.

How to Reduce Condensation

To help minimize the amount of condensation, we offer an insulation pack. This pack is designed to cover the hoses and filter housing, which are the main areas where condensation forms. By adding this layer of insulation, you can significantly reduce the amount of moisture buildup.

However, please note that the insulation pack does not cover the fittings, so you may still notice some condensation in these areas. This is normal and to be expected.
