Here are a couple of options for managing your tub if you'll be away for an extended period:
Drain and Power Down: You can choose to drain the tub and power down the unit. Important: If you opt for this, be sure to unplug the unit completely from any electrical outlet.
Keep It Running: Alternatively, you can keep the unit running and set the chiller to a higher temperature, such as 70-75°F. Do NOT turn the chiller off completely if you keep the unit running. Additionally, if you go this route, be sure to either change your filter OR remove the filter from the housing right before you leave to maintain optimal water flow.
