Water Change – 

Change the water as desired to suit personal preferences. We suggest changing the water every three months. However, the frequency ultimately depends on individual preferences and the consistent upkeep of water sanitation practices.

Follow these steps to change the water: (These are the steps for METHOD 1 below)

1. Shut power off to the system
2. Remove the filter from the filter housing (not required, but allows for faster draining)
3. Attach the hose drainage connector to the return jet. The narrower threads will screw into the inside of the return jet, and the wider threads will connect to the water hose.
4. Attach the water hose to the other end of this attachment.
5. Power up the unit so the pump routes the water through the water hose to drain the water where desired
6. Once emptied, shut off power to the unit so the pump and chiller does not run dry
7. Refill using the hose filter

METHOD 1:

Please note: This video demonstrates the process on our Modtub 1.0, but the steps are exactly the same for your Modtub 2.0.

METHOD 2:

Your Modtub 2.0 has two drain plugs, located near the bottom on both the left and right sides of the tub. To drain the water, simply twist the plugs open. This allows gravity to do the work, so the tub drains naturally without needing to be moved.
